Daniel E. Kieliszak, Esquire, CPA (Partner). Dan Received his
B.A. degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y., and his law
degree from Catholic University. He has worked with two international
public accounting firms (Ernst & Whinney and Laventhol & Horwath) where
he served in the E&W National Tax Department and as a senior tax manager,
specializing in business, personal and estate tax planning and consulting.
He has spoken at tax seminars throughout New England, television and radio
shows and has published several articles. Dan has also specialized in
preparing business valuations, including testifying in court and acting
as arbitrator and Master in Rhode Island. He is a member of the Bar Associations
in Virginia and Washington D.C., as well as a member of the American Bar
Association. Dan is a member of the Rhode Island Society of CPAs and the
American Institute of CPAs. As a past chairman of the Speakers Bureau
and a member of the CPA/Attorney Liaison Committee of the Rhode Island
CPA Society, he continued to serve on various committees of the Society.
Dan taught commercial law for 15 years at Rhode Island College for Lambers
CPA Review. (Veteran - U.S. Air Force).
James R. Eggert, CPA, CMA (Partner). Jim is a graduate of University
of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and is also a Certified Management Accountant.
He served as Chief Financial Officer and gained valuable experience in
business consulting. He has taught accounting at Dean Junior College and
has been published in a national accounting magazine. He served on the
Providence Chapter of the National Association of Accountants as director
for the CMA program and has served on the accounting, auditing and Quality
Review Committee of the Rhode Island CPA Society. Jim is a member of The
Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. (Veteran
- U.S. Navy).
Richard Swanson, CPA, MST, MBA, BSEE. Dick is a graduate of Northeastern
University and Bryant College. He has extensive experience as the Rhode
Island program manager responsible for the preparation of proposal estimates,
including direct and indirect costs, for government contracts. Dick also
has extensive small business retail experience, having owned his own retail
store since 1982. He is a consultant for the Rhode Island Small Business
Development Center at Bryant College. He is a member of the Rhode Island
Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. (Veteran - U.S. Navy).
Monique D. Oliveira, EA. Monique received her Bachelor of Science
degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and
an M.B.A. from Bryant College. She is an Enrolled Agent, eligible to practice
before the Internal Revenue Service. Monique was employed by a dental
practice in Fall River, Massachusetts for several years as office manager
and handled all phases of payroll taxes, accounting and office procedures,
and was Senior Accountant for the firm of Ed Sylvia, CPA in New Bedford,
Massachusetts. She is a member of the National Association of Enrolled
Agents, and the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents.
Paul K. Maraghy, CPA, CFP. Paul is a 1983 graduate of Merrimack
College. Prior to joining Kieliszak, Eggert & Co. Ltd., Paul worked at
Price Waterhouse where he concentrated on tax planning and compliance
issues for individual and small business. In addition to many years of
experience in public accounting, Paul has also owned and operated a retail
and wholesale institutional bakery. As a Certified Financial Planner,
Paul is a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners and
the Rhode Island Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners.
Elaine S. Oliver, CPA, B.S. Elaine graduated summa cum laude from
Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and
General Management. She was employed at Health-Tex, Inc. for 12 years
in operations, responsible for forecasting production needs, inventory
allocation, and distribution planning. She is a member of the American
Institute of CPA's, the Rhode Island CPA Society, and the Institute of
Management Accountants.
